Make a cup of this Orange and Spice Tea to warm you up this holiday season.
2 cups water
3 inch stick cinnamon, broken in half
6 whole cloves, placed in a tea ball
3 black or orange pekoe tea bags
1 cup orange juice
1 – 2 tbsp brown sugar (or to taste)
orange slices, optional
In a medium saucepan combine water, cinnamon stick, and cloves. Bring to a boil and remove from the heat.
Add the tea bags and let stand for about 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the orange juice and brown sugar; heat the mixture through.
Remove the cloves and the cinnamon sticks; pour the tea into 4 cups or mugs and serve with orange slices, if desired.
