Most pork sausages that you buy in the grocery store have ingredients listed like wheat or other additives that you may not want in your food for health reasons. Here is a recipe without all those ingredients, which tastes better than anything in the frozen section of your local grocery store.

Ingredients:
2 lb lean ground pork
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp red onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp sage
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
2 tbsp water

Directions:
Add the ground pork to a mixing bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Using your hands mix all the ingredients together . Refrigerate the mixture overnight before using to allow the flavours to develop, or freeze the uncooked sausage by stuffing it into casings, or forming it into patties.
